I haven’t done a link round-up in a while! Here are some very random things that I’ve found around the internet lately…
Amazon has been recommending some weird things lately, such as this charming Cat Butt Tissue Holder…
and this cat unicorn thing….

As anyone local knows, the wonderfully charming town of Ellicott City, MD, was overwhelmed (for the 2nd time in two years!) by flash flood waters. These small businesses, some of which literally just reopened their doors after the 2016 flood, have been washed away again. This little town is close to my heart. It reminds me so much of the little town I left behind when I moved to Maryland and so my heart breaks knowing that some of these businesses won’t rebuild this time, they won’t be able to sustain the cost and emotional energy to go through this process again so soon after the last. If you feel called to help any of those affected a quick search on Go Fund Me, reveals atleast 36 requests for help. Give what you can! Support Ellicott City, MD
This picture was taken at Tea on the Tiber. My mom and I were just there this past Mother’s Day, just two weeks before the flood. It is a lovely tea shop…it was a lovely little tea shop that has since been decimated. 🙁

I started reading Into the Raging Sea by Rachel Slade. It is detailed account of a ship, the El Faro, that vanished during a hurricane in 2015. I don’t remember hearing of it before. Such a sad (avoidable?) tragedy.

Oh for the love! Roseanne Barr is a whack-a-do!! Unfortunately she is all around the internet right now. Check out this story where she blames the sleep aid, Ambien for her racist tweets. (insert massive eye rolling emoji!!!) I take Ambien on occasion, and last time I checked racism isn’t one of the side effects. :/

I’ve been waiting for this to happen! A Tesla, on autopilot crashed into a parked police car. Whoops! Thankfully only minor injuries were reported. I was able to be a passenger in two different Tesla’s back in April…one of which was driven on autopilot for a brief period. It was disconcerting to watch the steering wheel moving with no hands on it! I don’t think I’d ever be trusting enough to take my hands off the wheel.

And finally I’ll leave you with a skin care recommendation…While I haven’t tried this cleansing stick yet, my two daughters rave about it! I’m thinking it looks super easy to use…
Thanks for joining me on my most recent trip around the internet!
