Friday Favorites: 2-2-18

February 2, 2018 by Tina Anthis

sharing favorites Friday

The week flew by and now it’s time to link up with Erika, Andrea and Narci.  Grab a cup of coffee and a cozy blanket while I share a few Friday Favorites…

I don’t wear a ton of makeup…seriously?! Who has the time to do full foundation and contouring every day?? But the minimal stuff I do put on every day are definitely favorites!

Bobbi Brown Cream Shadow Stick- Golden Pink. —My absolute favorite…of all the make-up I use this is the one I can’t do without -A quick swipe of this eyeshadow is all you need! I’ve been using this for years now and can’t imagine switching to anything else. Long lasting, creamy, smooth and a universal color that seems to look great on everyone!bobbi brown shadow stickShadow Stick- Golden Pink

Nars Blush and the color is “Orgasm’ — If you haven’t tried this stuff you need to right away! It’s a total cult classic and for good reason…it’s the perfect peachy/pink color with just a hint of shimmer.

Trish McEvoy Essential Lip Pencil AND this sharpener. You can sharpen these lip pencils down to the NUB and there will still be color all the way to the bottom. They last forever making them a great value!lip pencil trish mcevoy

Maybelline Brow Precise Micro Eyebrow Pencil, Auburn

Last month I ran out of my favorite eyebrow pencil. I kept meaning to get over to ULTA to pick up another one but just couldn’t find the time! Sarah and I had to stop by Rite Aid to pick up a prescription and I saw this pencil by Maybelline. I’m typically very skeptical about drug store makeup…not being able to try it before buying. BUT I really needed to color in my brows! I have very little hair left on my left brow due to several bouts with basal cell carcinoma (aka skin cancer #skincancersucks!) So, I took a chance, and guess what??? I love it! The color is a perfect auburn shade and it goes on smooth and even. 🙂

Does the lip pencil stay on long?

Yes! Not as long a lip stain but much longer than traditional lipstick

Your Valentine’s Day food post is great. I watch my niece and nephew 2 days a week, and one of those days falls on Valentine’s Day, so I’ve been trying to get ideas for the food I’m going to make.
