Friday Favorites- 6/22/18

June 22, 2018 by Tina Anthis

If it’s Friday it must be time to share some Friday Favorites! Today I have a hodge podge of products and things to share with you! I’m even sharing my newest planner from Erin Conden…

favorites FridayOf course I’m linking up with Erika, Andrea and Narci to share our Friday Favorites!

beauty makeup

First up I must share with you my newest favorite makeup product! I’ve looked high and low to find a sunscreen for my face that I can’t feel…at all. If sunscreen on my face feels greasy, heavy, cake-y then I’m for sure not going to use it. I needed something light and easy to apply. Enter Tarte BB tinted treatment primer. It has an SPF of 30. I chose the “fair” shade. I can put it straight on but typically I add a dime size amount of this lotion…

beauty makeup

E.L.F. Daily Hydration Moisturizer. This stuff smells great, is readily available at Target and it’s cheap!

books reading

You know what makes me happiest?? A big basket of books just waiting to be read!

chick fil a

I’m having a summer love affair…with Chick Fil A’s “frosted sunrise”. Oh.my.gosh. Seriously tasty. I know that’s it’s just their soft serve ice cream mixed with orange juice, but there’s just something about them. #yum

This next one will only appeal to pool owners, but these handle things are life savers! After fussing with two frogs (one dead and one alive) and then a dead mouse in my pool skimmer, I’ve decided I’m never sticking my hand in my skimmer baskets again! ICK!

l'ange spray hair

This Shine Spray from L’ange has been an everyday favorite! It’s a light weight, dry oil that adds lovely shine and takes care of the frizzies and flyaways. Bonus…it smells good too! If you are looking for more Summer Essentials…check here.

steak recipe

My family is in love with this steak recipe. Now I don’t eat steak so I can’t personally review it, but when 5 out of the 6 of us rave about it, then I have to assume it’s pretty darn awesome. Full disclosure…I don’t make the chimichurri sauce, just the marinade. I have found that using flank steaks works best, although I’ve used skirt steak as well. It’s takes 3+ pounds of steak to feed everyone.

When July rolls around, it’s time to crack open a new planner! Ah! I love fresh, new planners….so many possibilities! I can’t stand spiral bound anything so I only use book bound planners. Erin Conden is known for their spiral bound planners but lucky for me she now offers a hardbound version! There are so many fun patterns to choose from and you can get your name imprinted on the cover.

teacher

Finally, I’ll leave you with a picture of the best teacher ever….My son’s 2nd grade teacher made sure he had the most awesome school year. He adored her and she adored him. He thrived under her guidance. We will miss Mrs. L for sure!!

Happy Friday Everyone!

The picture on the angel skimmer is a hoot! I can only assume it was similar to your reaction to the frogs 🤣
