Here we are another edition of Friday Favorites…After today there’s only ONE MORE FRIDAY BEFORE CHRISTMAS….Let that sink in!!!
I’m teaming up with three talented bloggers to share my Friday Favorites. Be sure to check out A Little Bit of Everything, Momfessionals and Grace and Love to see all the fun things they blog about.
Number one!
Sarah’s marching band banquet was this past week. It was fun to see everyone, eat tasty food and see my girl get her award and the slide show was awesome. The kids talking on the stage? OH.MY.GOODNESS was that L…O…N…G. Seriously, Hours of talking. It meant everything to the kids in band but I legit saw parents nodding off! LOL! Look at the cute images that were projected during the slide show…
The top two show the graduating seniors and then we’ve got the beautiful color guard (seriously, aren’t they lovely?) and finally Sarah receiving her annual color guard award. But then….then….they showed this picture…of my baby Sarah! I.CAN’T.EVEN!!! Oh my gosh guys…talk about tears! I just can’t believe how much time has passed. I swear I still remember the exact feel of that purple, footed, sleeper she’s wearing. I can feel the weight of her as she would fall asleep on my lap…
Take a look at the lovely young lady that adorable girl turned into. Still so full of joy. She might be too big to fall asleep in my lap, but she’s still my baby!!
number two!
my silly kids will always be a friday favorite!
number three!
This adorable Rudolph sign is my favorite new decoration this year. It was made by talented neighbors. I’m told they are going to open an Etsy shop…as soon as it’s live I’ll be sharing the link!
number four!
This girl is totally a favorite of mine…my darling god daughter and I went to a local pottery place to paint an ornament, make a handprint plate and chat with Santa. She is such a doll! I like to think of her as my practice grand child. 😉
number five!
Look at these cute hostess gifts I received at our gingerbread decorating party. Aren’t they adorable! In case you missed my thoughts on hostess gifts, click here. And I actually highlighted these exact pens in my recent post on shopping at Kohls.
number six!
Our neighborhoods 2nd annual Christmas Caroling even was held a couple of days ago. I’m told the group just about doubled in size from last year! While it was COLD, we had fun drinking hot cocoa around the fire, chatting with neighbors and then singing our hearts out as we walked several of our streets. Let me tell you it’s a good thing no one cares what you sound like when you are singing christmas carols because we sounded pretty bad! LOL! But our various audiences seemed to appreciate our efforts just the same. 🙂
and finally number seven!
Sarah got all gussied up and had her senior portraits taken. It was a very cold day, but we braved the wind and spent several hours at three different locations getting (what I’m sure are) the perfect shots. If you are local please check out Danielle Lavis based in Savage, MD. She was so wonderful to work with! Here’s a sneak peak!
That’s it for today folks! See you next week for more Friday Favorites! Have a great weekend!!
