Hot Mess Friday Favorites!

March 23, 2018 by Tina Anthis

Have I got a hot mess of favorites today! Seriously when I look over the photos, I can’t help but see how none of them relate. But I’ve got a couple of product recommendations and a whole lot of other randomness from this past week. Bet you can’t wait to see my hot mess! 😉

favorites Friday

Linking up with Erika, Andrea, and Narci, to share some Friday Favorites. Some Fridays I am able to post about things that share something in common…this is not one of those Fridays. Instead of Friday Favorites, this should simply be titled “A Bucket of Hot Mess”! LOL!

Chick fil a

This girl started her first official job! Sarah is our local Chick Fil A’s newest (and cutest!) employee. She is learning quickly and enjoying meeting new people and says “my pleasure” on command. Haha!

Hot mess

It seems a leprechaun visited our house last Saturday! Look, my milk is green! Sneaky little suckers evaded Sofia and Joshua’s trap but did manage to leave behind a few gold chocolates. 🙂

Calcium gummies

In honor of my grandma, I take a handful of vitamins every day. Unlike my grandma’s vitamins mine are not horse-pills, but rather tasty gummies! Chewing these calcium along with my C, D, multi, Biotin and Melatonin gummies every day is like having an adult pack of fruit snacks! Yum!

Hot mess

This boy tells me he will never be too old to snuggle with mom. I hope not! Of course there may come a time when he’s too big to lay on me like this, but I hope he’ll always want to snuggle up next to me. Such a sweet boy.

Hot mess

These three were hoping I’d opened the pantry to get them cat treats. Spoiler alert…they did NOT get cat treats but I enjoyed a couple shortbread cookies. 🙂

Cruise nails

Oh Pinterest how I love thee… Not cruising again until January but looks at these cute cruise nails! I’m dying! While I don’t know exactly what colors were used for these manicures, I’m going to make a few educated guesses!  Essie- Navy Blue, OPI- Alpine Snow, Essie- Haute in the Heat, Sally Hanson- Nail Art Pens, Milani Nail- Silver Sparkle

Hot mess

Brought our Vitamix up from the basement yesterday. We have very little counter space so I typically only keep the blender on the counter during spring and summer…the months we typically make smoothies! Today was the first smoothie of the season. Strawberry, peach and banana. My nail polish is OPI- Tickle My Fancy (am I the only one who buys nail polish based solely on the name??). We typically just dump yogurt, milk and whatever frozen fruit we happen to have but I’m thinking this peach-raspberry smoothies looks tasty!

Hot mess

First day of Spring brought us 6” of snow. Just two days before it was almost 60 degrees and the kids were outside in short sleeves. Maryland weather can be so weird! But really this was the perfect type of snowstorm to have…it looked beautiful all day, school was cancelled but the next day the sun was out and it got to almost 50 degrees, which melted it all away, leaving the roads nice and dry.

Hot mess

I’ll leave you with a parting shot of my cuties. Here they were all clearly on sentry duty…keeping watch over their kingdom!

Have a great weekend!

Awe! That picture of you and your little guy snuggling is so precious! I often hope that my boys {& girls} never get too old to want to do that. 🙂

Hi. Your cats are so cute. I take a lot of vitamins too, but it’s good for you. Some are gummies. My multivitamin & my vitamin C. Those nail looks are really cute. I paint my nails a lot. I’m not so good at the designs though.
