My travels around the internet

February 4, 2019 by Tina Anthis

Every once in a while I feel the need to share with you guys things I’ve come across as I’ve been wandering the world wide web. Sometimes the things I find are educational, sometimes entertaining and often times just plain weird! Here’s what I’ve found lately on my travels around the internet…

links you may be curious about:

Here’s something my kids will never get to experience!
What Kids do on Private Planes

Um….why…would you want a Clear Suitcase?

Can’t own a real cat…try a lifesize Lego one!

In case you are thinking about moving…here are the best large and best small cities in America. Spoiler alert…New York wins best large city…shocking I know! 😉

Huh…well…here’s something I’ve never considered doing… Why You Might Want to Put Weed up Your Butt.

Here’s a few ideas for your some-day back yard!!

weird things amazon has told me I need:

  • amazon weird
  • weird amazon
  • weird amazon

What, exactly, does Amazon think I’m up to these days??? LOL!

articles that may make you mad:

Here’s the truth regarding the New York State Reproductive Act. Lots, and lots of false info going around the web!

Reverse Racism or prejudice? What’s the difference anyway?

Watch out anti-vaxers in Washington state! You may have to get your kids vaccinated after all! (just an FYI…I’m in total support of having your kids properly vaccinated!)

Songs that, if released now, would be considered politically incorrect. Genesis’ “Illegal Alien” anyone? 😉

Funny (’cause they’re true!) Tweets:

All things Costa Concordia (A rabbit hole I recently fell into!)

Underwater images

What happened to the captain after he abandoned his ship!

Footage taken while the ship was sinking…unedited, straight from passengers cell phones…scary as heck!

Awesome feat of engineering…salvaging the wreckage (this one is 54 minutes but totally worth it!)

Simply the best article I found…it details everything.

I (obviously) remember when this happened, but something else must have been going on in my life because I just didn’t follow it closely at the time. Now that we are big time cruisers I find this story even more interesting. Costa is owned by Carnival Corporation and as such, many of the elements in the Concordia match those in Carnival ships we’ve been on. The videos I watched were like a car accident…I couldn’t look away! ha!

Ok, I guess that gets you caught up on my travels around the internet lately! 🙂

pssst…..Valentines Day is coming! Are you ready?
