Neutral Fall Decor on Etsy

October 4, 2018 by Tina Anthis

How to Utilize Etsy in your Neutral Fall Decor

When I was digging around for a cute apple picking sign to highlight on my post about decorating for Fall with neutral colors,  I came across lots of other items that would be perfect for neutral fall decorating. Etsy is full of talented people! I’m constantly amazed. I think of myself as moderately crafty but Etsy folks?….seriously crafty! I found so many things that I decided they were worthy of their own post. 🙂

It’s All About Using Natural Elements

I’m not big into using the more traditional colors when decorating my home for Fall and as such I tend to gravitate towards creams, browns, greys and black with very subtle reds and oranges. Therefore, rather than sticking to one medium, I like to mix metals, chalk, and wooden elements together. Layering in various textures, like linen, yarn and burlap is a great way to add texture and depth. Most importantly, natural elements are key when decorating your home in neutral colors, cotton and wheat stems as well as using real leaves and creamy, white pumpkins really brings it all together.

Fun Fall Finds on Etsy

If using bright oranges and reds in your autumn decor is not your thing, then you’ll love many of these goodies! Highlighted below are a number of items that would easily mix in to a neutral fall color palate. If you are interested in any of these Fall Etsy finds, info is included below. One or two of them may need to come home with me! LOL!

  2. Pumpkin Patch Sign
  3. Pumpkin Pie Glass Frame Sign

  7. Wheat Stems
  8. Rustic Neutral Books
  9. Crocheted Pumpkins
  10. Neutral Fall Wreath
  11. “Hello Fall” tea towel

I know it’s more challenging to decorate your home with a neutral color palate, especially when the big box stores are shoving bright orange pumpkins and bold red apples practically down your throat! LOL! But if you do a bit more hunting around (don’t forget to check your own backyard for possible natural elements!) you too can achieve a more relaxed Fall feel.

Hope you found some inspiration! 🙂
