It’s a new year! Friday Favorites

January 4, 2019 by Tina Anthis

Oh my gosh! It’s the first edition of Friday Favorites for the new year! 2018 flew by and here we are in 2019. Friday Favorites are a staple around here so lets get right to it….

favorites Friday

one…

new year mug tea

My new mug!! Perfect for the new year, right? It’s a great reminder to choose happiness. (I actually received several mugs for Christmas, all adorable, but this one seemed just right to ring in 2019)

two…

deebot vacuum robot

This one is a no-brainer favorite! My new Deebot Robot Vacuum is amazing!! I’ll admit it, I bought it for myself for Christmas. 🙂 But hey, I wrapped it up and waited until the day after Christmas to use it! Meet Rosie…my new best friend. She does the floors while I read a book dust. 😉 She does a fantastic job picking up all sorts of junk off the both the carpet and the hard floors. Now I just need another one for upstairs!!

three…

Look at this adorable basic from my awesome neighbors! Cookies, candy, popcorn…what else could one need to get through life? Oh yes, an “A” sign!!! I LOVE my new “A”, it’s now living above my stove where it fits perfectly.

four…

cats

Look at my dopey cat!! Ozzie either sleeps like this, with his face down to the floor, or layed out like a center fold model….no in betweens. LOL!

five…

christmas

This picture cracks me up. Doesn’t it look like Sofia has four legs?? haha!! Sarah’s hiding in there somewhere. 😉

six…

These packing cube things are THE BEST!! I am truly in love with how easy they make the packing process. Pick out everything I want to take, roll them up, put them in the right sized cubes, toss them in the suitcase…done! Now I can just take out each cube as needed rather than dig through my suitcase trying to find what I’m looking for. As for the upcoming cruise, I can put these cubes on the shelves in the stateroom closet and they will keep everything organized for me. If you’ve ever been on a cruise you know storage space is limited, these will be a life saver. I bought Nick a black set but I can easily see grabbing up a couple of other colors for the kids too. Having everything color coded will be great when we are traveling as a family. In case you want to see the cubes in action, here you go….

see how much room I’ve got left??!! Plenty of room for my toiletry bag and my new shoe bags….

seven…

clinique travel

I love the “moisture surge” moisturizer from Clinique, so I was thrilled, when I went to buy the regular size, to find this set that included the full size jar PLUS all these smaller sizes. They will be perfect for our trip!

eight…

Finally…I talked about this lovely body wash before. It’s from Grove Collaborative and it’s fantastic. I was happy to find a travel size! If you are curious about Grove products, check out my previous post. Oh and this one too.

That’s it for now! Have a lovely weekend!!
