Summer is here! Today is the last day of school for my two youngest kiddos. This has been such a great year for both of them. Here are some Friday Favorites…
It’s Friday so it must be time to share a few Friday Favorites. I’m linking up with Andrea, Erika and Narci.
Here are my kids first and last days of 2nd and 4th grade. I think they may have grown! 😉
Man did this guy rock 2nd grade. He started off the year way behind in reading. But with a loving teacher and a dedicated tutor, he’s now on (and almost above!) grade level! He continues to love math and recess and turkey sandwiches for lunch. He took on golf lessons in the fall and joined a tennis team in the spring. He still loves his Legos and will happily play with his Hot Wheels for hours. He’s going to miss his teacher so much but he’s had an awesome 2nd grade year and is ready to take on 3rd grade in the fall. 🙂
Sofia loves school and is SO sad that she won’t be able to go back until the fall. She has made several very nice friends who she enjoys hanging out with at recess, because 4th graders don’t play at recess…they “hang out” in case you didn’t know. LOL! 4th grade brought some super fun activities. Sofia wanted to do everything…but…she was limited to one outside of school activity. She chose dance and had a ball in her combo ballet and tap class. At school she took on both chorus and band. Her music teacher said she has really taken to drumming. This girl is ready to rock 5th grade.
Here are a few more from their first day… (I fell down on getting any other last day pics!)
Pretty cute kids huh? 😉
We kicked off summer early with a fun afterschool playdate. I’m pretty sure fun was had by all!
and my final Friday Favorite…
Ozzie hopes you will have a relaxing Father’s Day weekend. 🙂
