Cozy Fall Clothes

While it’s still crazy sticky hot here, I can’t help but start to think about cozy fall clothes. Don’t get me wrong…I LOVE my flip flops and shorts, but once the back to school shopping gets underway it seems I might be ready for cozy, comfy clothes to lounge around in. Check out what I’ve got my eye on to get fall started……………Last week my Trunk Club stylist reached out with a preview of my upcoming Trunk delivery. Trunk club is the only one of the three style delivery companies I use, that lets you see the chosen items before they ship. This way you can approve or remove any unwanted choices and have your stylist replace them with items more to your liking.

I had gotten notice that it would soon be time for a new box so I made notes to the stylist that I was looking for comfy, but stylish lounge wear. I mean I want to be comfy but since I do need to leave the house occasionally, I also need it to be cute and be able to pass for regular clothes! LOL! Well…the first stab at the lounge wear Trunk was pretty much a total miss. It included “tuxedo” style sweat pants…um….what??? As well as possibly the bulkiest cable knit sweater I’ve ever seen in my life. It made me break out in a heat rash just looking at it! Out of the 12 items that had been picked for me only THREE of them were even remotely something I wanted to try. I almost cancelled the entire delivery BUT I knew that my stylist hadn’t let me down before. I messaged her and tried to clarify what I am looking for…I sent the following pictures as inspiration…

Sure enough, my stylist reworked the box and the second try was spot on! I love that Trunk Club offers the ability to see, ahead of time, what’s been chosen for me. If I had received the first picks I would have been very disappointed. And now…I can.not.wait to get this Trunk delivery!! Check out this tiny preview of the things to come…

OMG…I see two things from Barefoot Dreams! If you aren’t familiar with this company, their sweaters and such are woven by angels out of some sort of dreamy, squishy, cloud material. I have one Barefoot Dreams cardigan that I’ve had for a number of years now. It’s WAY too big for me (bought long before I lost 43 lbs), but I can’t even think about getting rid of it…I just use it like a robe now. 🙂 I know what you’re thinking…too pricey! But seriously, once you try one on you’ll be ready to throw down whatever amount of money to keep it. They are that good. They also make the most lovely gifts….perfect for new moms or someone dealing with health concerns. They’re like a hug in a gift bag. 🙂

As soon as I receive this Trunk Club delivery I will be back with a review. I have a feeling it’s going to be hard to pick just one thing! 😉 I can’t be the only one who looks forward to cozy, fall clothes. What is your go-to fall style?
