What’s Up Wednesday

January 31, 2018 by Tina Anthis

what's up wednesdayI’m joining  Mel, Shay, Sheaffer for their What’s Up Wednesday link-up! Once a month we answer the following questions…

What We’re eating this week :
California pizza kitchen We found ourselves with a bit of extra time after running some errands and decided to pop into California Pizza Kitchen. We love the Thai Chicken Pizza and the BBQ Chicken Pizza.

What I’m reminiscing about:
Our New York trip, December 2016…so much fun!!

What I’m loving:
My neighbors!!! I feel so incredibly blessed to have such caring (and fun!) neighbors. It doesn’t hurt either, that my bestie lives right next door! Goodness I love that gal!

What we’ve been up to:
Trying to stay warm! Seriously someone give me some blankets…all.the.blankets!

What I’m dreading:
6 month skin check…super important but they always find SOMETHING to cut or burn off of my body (usually my face!) #basalcellcarcinomaisnofun!

What I’m working on:
Cruise plans! We just booked on a Carnival cruise…and, since I only have 11 1/2 months to plan it 😉 I figured I’d better get started! LOL!

What I’m excited about:
I’ve got two parties I’m currently planning…a brunch for all my gal pals (no guys allowed!) and a neighborhood potluck. Between my personal parties, School/Scout related parties and HOA social events…I’ve got 17 get-togethers to plan this year!

What I’m watching/reading:

book review

My January book review came out a couple of  days ago, Check it Out Here

What I’m watching/reading:
Reading:

I just started Reading Killman Creek by Rachel Caine

Watching:
Better Late Than Never. Have you been watching this?? It stars Henry Winkler, Terry Bradshaw, George Foreman and William Shatner. These four old dudes travel to a variety of places (in Europe this season) and do all sorts of bucket list type things, while also experiencing the local culture. I would never have guessed that this show would appeal to me….but…Somehow it’s funny and sweet at same time. We’ve been watching it with our 16 year old…she finds it hilarious too! It’s definitely family friendly. Unfortunately this season ends next Monday but if you can catch this seasons episodes (or season 1) somewhere online or streaming…I highly recommend watching.

What I’m listening to:
Right now? My two youngest playing and laughing happily…although I suspect in no more than 10 minutes that laughter will change over to arguing and dissolve into a hot mess of “its not fair!” and “you NEVER do what I want to do!”. #imluckytoget10minutesofpeace

What I’m wearing:trunk club stitch fix
These booties…all the time!
If you missed it take a look at my review of Trunk Club vs. Stitch Fix

What I’m doing this weekend:
Lunch with a friend, thinking we will hit up a local diner.

What I’m looking forward to:wisp ski resort
Weekend ski getaway with four other families!

What else is new:
Hmmmm…well, this blog is still pretty new! I’m plugging along trying to learn as I go, but I am no computer genius! LOL!

See you next month at WHAT’S UP WEDNESDAY!
