Which Stitch Fix Did I Keep?

August 1, 2018 by Tina Anthis

When I opened my July Stitch Fix box I cringed. What did I see???….Camo! I’m sure that camo looks cute (as a fashion statement) on someone but I just knew it wasn’t going to look good on me. After the camo I was nervous to see the rest….BUT, I was pleasantly surprised by the other July Stitch Fix offerings. I only kept one item…scroll through my pics and see if you can guess which one…

It’s a safe bet to say that I didn’t keep the aforementioned camo pants and I’m sure you can see why! LOL!

Keep going! 🙂

AND….I kept…the Navy blue halter top. I was a little concerned about bra straps, but my 17 year old assured me that black bra straps showing are no big deal. If she says so it must be true!! #justsaynotostraplessbras

The denim shorts were cute but just a tad too tight for my liking. I like to look cute, but comfort trumps fashion. 😉 The striped top was super soft and comfy but I just bought a striped tank from the same designer…I just couldn’t justify two such similar items. The side-tie tank pulled a bit weird across my chest. And we all know the camo were WRONG!

In case you were wondering about the styling inserts that come with each Stitch Fix box, here’s what this months looked like. The Stylist tries to show how each item can be styled, both with items from the box and with items you may already own. I’ve also included the price breakdown.

If you are dying to try Stitch Fix, consider using my referral link. Your price stays the same and I earn a small referral fee. 🙂 I’ve been using Stitch Fix for about 9 months and each box always has something that I love that I would never have picked up on my own. It’s fun to try new styles and being able to do it in the comfort of my own home is a huge bonus! I find that between Stitch Fix, Trunk Club and Wantable, I do very little shopping in actual stores. #homestyleforthewin

Oh and BIG NEWS, Stitch Fix is now offering kid styling! I have both my younger kids signed up. They should each receive their first box by the beginning of September…just in time for some back to school shopping! I don’t know about you but I’m not a fan of taking my younger kids shopping therefore I try and buy things for them when I’m out and about. This inevitably leads to things not fitting correctly or them not liking what I chose…so then I have to deal with returns. I HATE dealing with returns! I’m hoping that Stitch Fix for kids solves this problem. 🙂 I’ll let you know how it goes!
